The Last York Steak House

York Steak House was started as part of a chain restaurant concept back in the 1960s. The first restaurant was opened in Columbus, Ohio on Morse Road. The chain expanded into shopping malls throughout the 1970s, but by the mid-1980s they started to shut down as more competition arose with newer shopping malls and food courts.

Only one York Steak House remains today on West Broad St. in Columbus, Ohio which is family owned and operated. Producer George Levert checks in with the owners to see what has made the restaurant stand the test of time.
