Construction contract let 4/10/1958. Originally opened on February 2, 1959, the Whitehall Branch was remodeled and a 2,400 square foot addition was added in 1993. Area residents attended the re-dedication party on June 14, 1993. The original Branch, known as Town & Country Library, opened at 53 Town Road on 10/2/1950.
