Tony West Talks About the King-Lincoln District

This float, although very representative of a tomato, was a nightmare for the queen. Getting up there required the use of a ladder and, as you can see, she had to be strapped on.

Roy Combs, pulling the float, was known as Mr. Tomato. He dressed in brightly colored tomato clothing and his attire is on display at the heritage center.
