Groveport, Ohio covered bridge

Covered Bridge, Ohio & Erie Canal. Built in 1847, the covered bridge sat on high abutments to allow boats to pass easily underneath. It was replaced in 1887 by an iron turn bridge. Photo courtesy of Rick Palsgrove, Director of the Groveport Village Heritage Museum.
