New Albany
A pedestrian-friendly village square anchored by a library, restaurants, shops and offices, with signature distinctive white horse fences, the Village of New Albany was founded in 1837. The village boasts a growing number of specialized medical practices. Other attractions include: The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts, The Learning Community Campus, the New Albany Business Park, Bevelhymer Park, Swickard Woods, Thompson Road Park, and Wexner Community Parks. In 1970 New Albany was much smaller than it is today, only consisting of a small part of Plain Township which did not even touch Columbus.
